USE: 
The new TN-747D 4 thread serger (overlock) is a direct drive ultra high speed overlock machine used to cut and sew (called overedging) typically on knit wear.  Ideal for stretchy materials such as ready to wear, athletic uniforms, yoga, gym wear and general sportswear serging.
 
FEATURES: 
The TN-747D responds to various kinds of sewing materials and processes, producing delicate and beautiful soft-to-the-touch seams while further reducing operating noise as well as increasing durability through its direct drive motor.  The motor is attached inline directly onto the main shaft which illuminates loss of power and vibration though a traditional belt drive system.
The TN-747D is controlled by a control box that is attached to the machine and table that will gives the operator complete and full control over the top speed, speed curve, and other controls. 
Blades are controlled independently and can be adjusted though a spring loaded slide and lock system that ensures a positive interaction between the moving (top) and fixed (bottom) blades.  The machine comes with an extra fixed (bottom) blade.
By removing either the left (outer) or right (inner) needle, the machine can easily be used as a 3 thread machine, which is commonly used on materials to stop the edge from fraying when doing a flat seam or blind hemming, etc.
